Delete your account

You can delete your Solstice account and its data at any time, either from inside the app or by asking us. Both routes remove the same things.

Cancel any paid subscription first.

Deleting your Solstice account does not cancel billing at the store that charges you. If you subscribed inside the Android app, cancel in Google Play → Subscriptions. If you subscribed on our website, cancel through the link in your receipt or email us. Delete the account afterwards.

In the app

Open Solstice and sign in.
Open Account & Plans.
Choose Delete my account.
Type DELETE and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately. You will be signed out and returned to the start.

By email

If you have already uninstalled the app, or cannot sign in, email support@peopleharmonics.com from the address you registered with, asking us to delete your account. We verify the request comes from that address and complete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

Your account and sign-in credentials
Your email address and profile
Your subscription and entitlement records
Meditations you generated, and their rendered audio
Your session history and any feedback you gave
Group sessions you hosted, and your participation in others

What is kept, and why

Two things survive, neither of which identifies you:

Anonymous counts. Aggregate figures — how many people chose a given option during onboarding, for example — remain, with the link to any person removed.
Shared audio caches. Solstice avoids re-rendering the same guided meditation twice by caching it against a fingerprint of its text, shared across everyone. Those cached files are not associated with any account, and the record of you having generated one is deleted.

We also keep the limited records we are legally required to retain for accounting and tax purposes, such as invoice totals. These are held separately and are not used to build a profile of you.

Retention

Deletion removes your data from our active systems immediately. Encrypted backups roll off within 30 days.
